In communication that we had with Ghalib Zagali, the Press Secretary of Libya’s Government of National Accord (GNA) based in Tripoli, we asked whether Libya intents to formally recognize the Turkish-Cypriot breakaway state, so-called “TRNC”.
Mr. Zagali who also represents GNA’s Prime Minister, Fayez Mustafa al-Sarraj, spoke to us exclusively and responded that “the Government of National Accord and the [Libyan] Ministry of Foreign Affairs] have no desire to establish any diplomatic relations with it”.
